Green tea baked cheesecake 😋🍵

Hello bloggers, long time no see 🙂 I have been busy with my life and studies but I would like to share this green tea infused cheesecake recipe to all 🙂

  • 150 g digestives crumbs
  • 50 g melted butter (for biscuit base)
  • 360 g Philadelphia cream cheese (I used light so it is low in fat)
  • 180 g caster sugar (you can use less if you want)
  • 4 eggs
  • 40 g plain flour
  • 200 ml soured cream
  • 5 g matcha green tea powder

IMG_7195Firstly I started off by mixing the melted butter and biscuit crumbs then pressing it into the cake tin.IMG_7161Then you hand whisk or electric whisk together the cream cheese, eggs and sugar into a yoghurt like consistency.

IMG_7162Sift in the flour.


As well as the green tea powder and pour in the sour cream. Finally you combine it all together with a spatula till you think it is all combined (remember not to over do it).IMG_7165In it goes in the cake tin (drop it a few times on the floor or table to let the air bubbles out). I also added in some lemon zest which is optional.


Bake at 170 °C for 1 hour.IMG_7167It is now ready, garnish with whatever toppings you desire and it is best served after it has been refrigerated for about 3 hours though you can have a slice whilst it is still warm 😀 Enjoy 😀
