Hello bloggers, long time no see 🙂 I have been busy with my life and studies but I would like to share this green tea infused cheesecake recipe to all 🙂
- 150 g digestives crumbs
- 50 g melted butter (for biscuit base)
- 360 g Philadelphia cream cheese (I used light so it is low in fat)
- 180 g caster sugar (you can use less if you want)
- 4 eggs
- 40 g plain flour
- 200 ml soured cream
- 5 g matcha green tea powder
Firstly I started off by mixing the melted butter and biscuit crumbs then pressing it into the cake tin.Then you hand whisk or electric whisk together the cream cheese, eggs and sugar into a yoghurt like consistency.
As well as the green tea powder and pour in the sour cream. Finally you combine it all together with a spatula till you think it is all combined (remember not to over do it).In it goes in the cake tin (drop it a few times on the floor or table to let the air bubbles out). I also added in some lemon zest which is optional.
Bake at 170 °C for 1 hour.It is now ready, garnish with whatever toppings you desire and it is best served after it has been refrigerated for about 3 hours though you can have a slice whilst it is still warm 😀 Enjoy 😀
